[edit] Synopsis
Mars is a superstar whose popularity went downhill after a series of negative publicity. His finances went into red alert and he had to find a place to live. He ended up renting a place from Mo Mo, his agoraphobic homebody landlord. He befriended her and her childhood friend Jia Sen, a swimming captain with the intelligence of an 8-year-old. In the beginning Mars and Mo Mo constantly fought but after going through some challenges together, they finally showed their feelings for one another.Mo Mo was a quiet and shy girl with Jia Sen as her only friend. She is often forgotten and left behind. Her only interest is to read her manga, "Prince Kashaba."On the first day of school for Mars, being his arrogant self, purposely signs his name onto her one of her manga with a permanent marker. Mo Mo becomes furious and yells at him in front of everyone. Due to Mo Mo's sister's debts, they have to rent out their parent's room to earn money, not knowing they are renting the room to Mars. Mars' agent helps rent the room, therefore Mo Mo had no idea why Mars was in her house, when he moved in. She ends up locking him in the bathroom and beating him. During the middle of the show, Mars is kicked out by Mo Mo when Mars' agent comes and tells Mo Mo that she is ruining his career.
Jia Sen is a child hood from of Mo Mo's. He earns tons of medals and gives them to Mo Mo, because he secretly really likes her. He hasn't mature though he isn't that stupid. He refers to Mars as "bad guy" and often gets upset when Mo Mo hangs out with Mars. Towards the end of the show when Jai Sen's mother asks Mo Mo to go with him to England to study, Mo Mo turns the offer down. She explains to Jia Sen that she has to stay with Mars, after Mars gets into an accident. Jia Sen gets upset and thinks that Mo Mo doesn't like him because he is stupid. Later on though, he finally accepts them and moves on, but he claims he will love Mo Mo forever. At the end of the show, Mars becomes famous again and they end the show with him moving back in with Mo Mo.

On 15 February 2009, the premiere of the first episode of ToGether on China Television (CTV) (中視) was cut by approximatly 17 minutes. This lead to criticisms on the CTV forum, for not repsecting the production team's vision and their creative spirit. CTV defended by stating that thay wanted the story to be more compact.[4] On 17 February 2009, Rainie Yang expressed on her blog, of hers and the prodcution team's saddness over the edited first "incomplete" episode and reiterated that the premiere on Gala Television (GTV) Variety Show/CH 28 will be the complete version.[5]On 20 February 2009, unaired episode 2 of TogetHer, due for network broadcast on 23 February, was posted on You Tube. Lai Cong Bi (賴聰筆), Deputy General Manager of Gala Television (GTV) expressed that in order to maximise the promotional tour of Jiro Wang, Rainie Yang and George Hu, DVD of episodes 1 and 2 were released in Singapore the week previously.[6]
